She loves Barbie movies. I can't wait to sit down and watch it with her. Customer Rating: Summary: fantastic version Comment: I was skeptical when my daughter brought this home from the library, but it's such a family favorite, we ordered our own copy. The music (from the London Symphony Orchestra) is first rate. The story adaptation, a multilayered storyline featuring Barbie and little sister Kelly, is by turns exciting and moving. The acting surpassed my expectations. Tim Curry is sinister and menacing (but not too scary for little kids) as the evil Mouse King. I'd recommend this movie for viewers of all ages. We watch it over and over and over. Customer Rating: Summary: Barbie Rules! Comment: I absolutely love all of Barbie's movies. I got this movie when I was 10, now I'm 19 and I still love it! In fact I love it so much I have since collected all 13 Barbie movies and am waiting for Barbie in a Christmas Carol. Comment: My daughter is obsessed with ballet and The Barbie Nutcracker is one of her favorite videos. She can now hear the music on classical radio and identify which part of The Nutcracker it is from. Amazing. I had no idea how good the Barbie videos where. The music is beautiful and they are really wonderful to watch - even for adults. Which is nice when you have to watch them over and over and over..........
