I bought this corded phone for emergency when electricity goes out. I have a mom who stays home most of the time. Therefore, I believe it will be very useful since we have a bad experience not able to contact each other during the last power outage. No problem mounting it on our kitchen wall. It has memory and speed dialing feature which is a plus. I would rate it 5-stars if the keypad has a brighter illumination. Emailed the company wanted to exchange for another phone. They said they dont do that, I needed to send the phone back. I called them hoping to get a different reply, and asking about the shipping cost. She said it would depend on the condition of the phone, the phone was brand new, I tried to explain to her that the phone was defective. I sent the phone back and they refunded me for just the cost of the phone. I paid more in shipping charges then what I paid for the phone. Customer Rating: Summary: Very phone-like!
